About the GATOMBOYA beans:

All the way from Nyeri, Kenya. Wood and Co are so chuffed to have coffee from this well known and highly respected washing station for another season.

The name GATOMBOYA is a Kikuyu word which means swamp and refers to the area’s terrain. It is one of four washing stations affiliated with the Barichu Farmers Cooperative Society. Smallholder coffee farmers from surrounding villages bring coffee to GATOMBOYA Washing Station, with the nearby Kirigu River providing the water source.

Recommended for filter, this one tastes like Blood Orange, Black Currant and Nectarine.
